Chris Carter

Compliance Officer

Chris joined Martello in June 2023 and is the appointed Compliance Officer, MLCO & MLRO for the business. 

Prior to joining Martello, Chris spent 9 years at JTC (Jersey) Limited, where he held a senior role in the Client Compliance Services division. He was appointed as a Key Person by several regulated funds, trustees, general partners and fund managers.

Chris studied Accounting & Financial Management at University in the UK and since embarking on his career in Compliance, he has obtained the ICA Diploma in Governance Risk & Compliance and the ICA Advanced Certificate in Anti-money laundering. Chris is a member of the Jersey Compliance Officers Association and International Compliance Association.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys exploring other countries, playing sports or enjoying Jersey’s coastline.
