Fund Strategy
The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of listed equities. Assets of the Fund are typically limited to, but not confined to, those companies listed on the markets of the UK, Europe and North America.
This strategy is a high conviction, global portfolio of high-quality companies from across the sector spectrum. This follows Martello’s investment philosophy and it is constructed on a bottom-up basis from companies and investments that have passed our rigorous, rules-based selection process. This is designed to ensure that the Fund invests in high quality businesses with proven management competencies and strategy execution.
The investment portfolio of the Fund is concentrated, comprising between 20 and 30 stocks. The portfolio is invested with the aim of providing a prudent spread of risk, and there are limits on the concentration of the investments held.

Costs
The costs associated with managing and operating the Fund, excluding transaction costs, are shown in the table below. These costs consist primarily of management fees and include custody fees, audit fees, regulatory fees, directors fees and other operational and establishment expenses. The figures shown are expressed as a percentage of the daily NAV of the Fund (Class A shares) calculated over a three year period and annualised.
Transaction costs are necessary costs in the management of the fund and include brokerage, taxes, and levies due on purchase and sale transactions. These are calculated on the same basis.
