Gary is a co-founder of Capital International (Jersey) Limited (formerly Martello Asset Management Limited) and joined as Investment Director in 2019. His roles in the business span both investment and portfolio management together with the management of our client relationships. He travels regularly to meet with clients and to develop new business in Martello’s core markets.
Prior to his role at Capital International, Gary was an Investment Director with Brooks Macdonald International (formerly DPZ Capital) where he was responsible for the management and development of its African client base.
He has in excess of 30 years’ experience in the investment management industry and is a Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment (UK). He is also a Key Individual and Representative under the South African FSCA regulatory framework.
Gary is a keen surfer and sea swimmer, braving the chilly waters around Jersey for most of the year.
