Gary is a co-founder of Martello Asset Management and joined as Investment Director in 2019. His roles in the business span both investment and portfolio management together with the management of Martello’s client relationships. He travels regularly to meet with clients and to develop new business in Martello’s core markets.
Prior to joining Martello, Gary was an Investment Director with Brooks Macdonald International (formerly DPZ Capital) where he was responsible for the management and development of its African client base.
He has in excess of 30 years’ experience in the investment management industry and is a Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment (UK). He is also a Key Individual and Representative under the South African FSCA regulatory framework.
Gary is a keen surfer and sea swimmer, braving the chilly waters around Jersey for most of the year.
